Supermarket shutdown

A belated reminder that Sainsburys is shut until Wed 15th July for major refurbishment.  You’ll be met by a group of kindly folk at the entrance of the car park telling you to ”do a U-e” should you forget.

When the store re-opens, you’ll have a new layout in which to get lost and a new cafe in which to refresh.  I expect the staff and the prices will remain the same though, but it’s 50-50 on whether that huge sign will still be there.

The petrol station remains open for your last minute fags/booze/ben and jerrys/pizzas etc…

  1. Had my shopping delivered on Friday and they came all the way from Woking bless them. He got so lost trying to find my flat aswell!!

  2. Does anyone else go through Sharon on fast tracks till on a regular basis? She’s on weekdays till 2.30pm. If you do she’s worth getting to know!

  3. I found this site a few weeks ago – very useful as I couldn’t find the re-opening date elsewhere on the internet!

Yep Sharon’s a laugh and often lets me through on fast track if I have a basket and she’s not busy.

  4. A large orange airship thingy with ‘Sainsburys’ on it appeared on the horizon a couple of hours ago, bouncing about uncomfortably in the wind. It’s now disappeared – either been taken down or blown away!
