Am I the only person who has a smidgeon of sympathy with Ingrid Tarrant?
She’s been fined £3,900 for fleeing a policeman trying to slap a ticket on her Saab in Cobham High Street on Christmas Eve. (with a name like Ingrid it had to be a Saab didn’t it)
By all accounts she went a little bit crazy – he had to chase her in his police car all the way to the Fairmile Lane and bundle her into a cage! – and I know we all hate people who block up bus lanes.
But haven’t you ever wanted to do a runner from a situation like that? Get the hair in your wind, become an outlaw and make it down to Mexico.
She is reported to have said “I am out of here”.
I guess she thought because of who she was that she could get away with it…But she didn’t count on the determination of the lawman.
It is has nothing to do with who she is! I was a witness and trust me PC was not a nice person and I would have done the same. It does not make it right but every day there is a car parked where she had, prehaps PC should move to Cobham where he could get off on giving tickets 12 hours a day!

im glad she got fined celebs r always gettin away with thing like that and it does my headin celebs think they can do what ever they want and get away with it!

Who in earth is Ingrid Tarrant? Who on earth cares who Ingird Tarrant is… she broke da law…she pays….period (or full stop as it used to be known)

What a girl Ingrid!! I’m impressed by her quick thinking and pluckiness – mind you the cage thing sounds a bit unceremonious and a bit of a hair-do ruffler!
