At the same time as Surrey County Council is desperately selling off the family jewels to scrape together money to keep old people looked after and at-risk children on the care register, on the other side of town the money does not yet appear to be in short supply.

Library site sell off would offer developers “a number of different opportunities”

Here’s a bit more on that news that Surrey County Council is planning to sell-off the Cedar Road site right behind the High Street in exchange for a developer pitching in with a new library.
